Owner & Photographer: Alicia Ruberto

Alicia began working in the entertainment industry in 1998 when she was 5 years of age. Working as an actor, she amounted professional experience, training and a wealth of knowledge about how the entertainment industry works. In 2014,  Alicia began her work as a professional photographer specializing in actors headshots specifically for talent agency use. She says “there is nothing more important than an actors headshot. Your images are the first thing casting directors will see and is often a make or break regarding castings”. 

 

Alicia’s work is referred to as being ‘unique’. While spending time in  California,  Alicia had the opportunity to work with a major photographer who taught her the ‘American style’ photos that agents and casting directors demand.  New Dimension now has partnerships with multiple acting schools, agencies and casting directors around Australia and in the United States who continually recommend her services. What sets Alicia apart from most is her strong passion for all things relating to the entertainment industry as well as her professionalism and positive energy. She prides herself on her industry connections and real life experience to give new and established performers expert services.

 

Dance has always been a huge part Alicia’s life,  she completed VCE Dance and advanced RAD and Cecchetti exams.  Alicia's dance experience gives New Dimension  an extra edge when shooting stage photography  for multiple dance eisteddfods around Australia.  Furthermore, her love of dance and photography has now had her exploring the two more artistically with a goal to provide dancers with not just ‘posed dance shots’ but images that use dance uniquely to tell a story.

In 2017 Alicia graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in Drama and Photography.
